These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of ukrchef.ca (the “Site”) and any purchases from UkrChef (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About UkrChef

UkrChef sells prepared and frozen food products for local delivery in Calgary, Alberta (Calgary only).

2. Orders & minimum order requirement

  • A minimum order is required to checkout: 4 kg OR 100 CAD (before delivery fees and taxes).
  • We may update product availability, prices, and promotions at any time.

3. Delivery (Calgary only)

  • Delivery is available within Calgary, Alberta only.
  • Delivery fee: A delivery fee may apply for orders below the free delivery threshold.
  • Free delivery: Free delivery is available for orders of 150 CAD or more.
  • Delivery fees and eligibility are calculated at checkout.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect address/phone details.

Receiving your order: Because our products are food items (often frozen), you must be available to receive your delivery. If delivery cannot be completed due to customer unavailability, we may need to reschedule, and additional fees may apply.

4. Product information & allergens

  • Product photos are for illustration; actual appearance may vary.
  • Please review product descriptions carefully before ordering.
  • Our kitchen may handle common allergens (e.g., wheat/gluten, dairy, eggs). If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact us before ordering.

5. Pricing & taxes

  • Prices are shown in CAD.
  • Applicable taxes (e.g., GST) may be added at checkout as required by law.

6. Payments

We accept online payments via supported payment methods on the Site, including card payments (WooPayments/Stripe) and PayPal (if enabled). Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed. We may place orders on hold for verification or fraud prevention.

7. Order changes & cancellations

Because we sell food products and prepare orders for delivery:

  • If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
  • Once an order is prepared or out for delivery, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

8. Returns & refunds (summary)

Please review our Refund / Return Policy for details. Due to the nature of food products, returns are generally not accepted, but we will address issues such as damaged or incorrect items.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UkrChef is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or purchase of products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable order.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (text, photos, branding) is owned by UkrChef or used with permission and may not be copied without consent.
